School Administrator

Location: St Cleer Primary Academy

We are seeking to appoint a School Administrator for our small village school, this is a vital role, liaising with our families and welcoming all visitors with a friendly, efficient and professional approach.

We Would Like To Appoint a Charismatic Person To:
• Efficiently manage the day to day running of the School’s admin office
• Provide an efficient and confidential administrative support to the Head Teacher
• Ensure Trust administrative and financial systems are established and maintained
• Manage statutory data returns

If you have the ability to work on your own initiative, but also work as part of a wider team we would like to hear from you.

Number of hours: 35pw
Rate of pay: £8.27ph
Working weeks: 38
Paid weeks: 44

Interviews will be held on Friday 4th October.

Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Assistant

Location: Duloe C of E School

Closing Date: 07/10/2019

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated professional, who has the vision, drive and commitment to work at our school.

The post will be 30 hours a week, based within our Year 5 and 6 class. Hours to include lunchtime supervision.

You should:
• Be able to take a pro-active role as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team in the support of pupils, teachers, the curriculum and the school
• Be able to support the professional work of teachers in delivering programmes of work and taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision

Teaching Assistant - Nursery

Location: Wadebridge Primary Academy

Wadebridge Primary Academy are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our nursery division.

We are looking to appoint a forward thinking, positive and innovative individual who will be based in our nursery. The right candidate will be flexible, friendly and committed to driving children's learning forward across EYFS.

This position is for a fixed term contract working 28.75 hours per week over 38 weeks per year (term time only).

The successful candidate must hold NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience working as a HLTA or running a room is desirable.

Community Governor

Location: Blisland Primary Academy

Blisland Primary Academy is seeking Community Governors to add to the Governing Body to help drive the strategic development and ethos in the school. A community governor can be anybody who lives or works in or around the areas in which the school is located. We are looking for people with a wide range of experience, and candidates do not need to be experts in education. We seek individuals who have drive and energy and are willing to use their skills to support the school and contribute to the educational outcomes of our pupils. Your knowledge of the local community is vital. A key skill for all governors is to be able to question and challenge and work as part of the team of governors and school leaders to identify viable solutions to problems and opportunities.
As part of Bridge Schools Trust support to new governors is provided through an established induction process with ongoing opportunities to develop skills through training and shared best practice.
Local Governing Bodies meet up to 6 times a year and the role involves looking at the data and information provided in the form of a Head of School report and other documentation before the meetings, thus each meeting requires preparation. You will also be expected to visit the school at least once each half-term so you can understand how the policies work in practice and how the data plays out in the classroom. This provides you with knowledge about your school so you can represent this to the stakeholders including Parents/Carers, the Staff and the community.
